These mementos are unused tickets from the Sesquicentennial or 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Prairie D'Ane, which was fought on April 12th, 1864 during the Civil War. This particular battle was actually a pivotal moment during the Civil War that could have completely changed its outcome. Union Forces were defeated by Confederate forces at this battle, protecting the then Capitol of the South, Washington, Arkansas. Unbeknownst to the Confederates, this allowed the Union to take the Confederate Armory at Camden, which may have given Union forces supplies that later gave them the upper hand.
